COINING ‘SURF’ THE NET

Sometimes we forget to wonder about the most common things that we do, like why we use the term ‘surf’  the net.  The term ‘surfing’  the Internet was coined in 1992 by a librarian, Jean Armour Polly, who goes by the popular name ‘Net Mom’ and also owns a domain by the same name.
